In summer there are marked and well-prepared paths for nature lovers, hikers, climbers as well as mountain bIn summer, nature lovers, hikers, climbers as well as mountain bikers will find marked and well prepared paths. Our house is the ideal place to start severa l excursions like mountain hiking tours of easy to moderate difficulty. You can walk to mountain inns, have a break and a snack or to local lakes. Also the professionals can take on a fresh challenge while walking along high alpine paths e.g. to the "Stettiner Cottage" or the "Zwickauer Cottage" or along the "Meraner High Route".
Horse lovers will enjoy the riding stable situated only a few steps from our house. Skilled riding instructors provide guided tours and coach rides.
The Sportarena nearby in St. Leonhard offers different sport activities, like Indoor-Climbing, Tennis, Bowling, beach volley and an Adventure Pool.
Highlights in Summer
Panorama Trail
A breathtaking hike along the Panorama Trail, leading from Grünboden to the Falschnal Alpine Hut. Take the cable car up to Grünboden at around 2,000 metres above sea level. From there, a beautifully maintained mountain trail winds through alpine rose meadows to the Falschnal Alpine Hut. The route then continues through scenic meadows and forests to the Lazins Alpine Hut before returning to Pfelders along a forest road.
Stettiner Hut
The Stettiner Hut is the mountain refuge located on the way to our local mountain, the Hohe Wilde, in the Ötztal Alps of South Tyrol. Situated in the heart of the Texel Group Nature Park, just below the Eisjöchl Pass, the hut serves as an important link between the Pfelders Valley and the Pfossental Valley, connecting the main ridge of the Ötztal Alps with the Texel Group. The hut is also located directly on the famous Merano High Mountain Trail (Meraner Höhenweg).

Merano and Passeier Autumn
From September to November, everything in our holiday region revolves around autumn, harvest traditions and culinary delights. Enjoy wine tastings, autumn festivals, gourmet weeks, guided tours and scenic hikes through the beautiful landscapes of the region. One of the highlights in the Passeier Valley is the Farmhouse Cuisine in Hinterpasseier/Alta Val Passiria, where visitors can discover and savour traditional local cuisine.
Ferrata Stuller Wasserfall
The via ferrata „Stuller Wasserfall“ is a medium-difficulty-level climb with a very difficult variation in the middle part, which can be bypassed. This steep and exposed climb proceeds through a breathtaking setting in the immediate vicinity of the roaring waterfall..
Passirio Gorge
From St. Leonhard to Moos or from Moos to St. Leonhard
This scenic hike leads from St. Leonhard in Passeier to Moos in Passeier along the impressive Gorge Trail. The approximately two-and-a-half-hour walk is a true adventure. The route crosses numerous metal walkways and bridges while offering spectacular views of the dramatic Passeier Gorge. Over centuries, the power of the water has carved remarkable rock formations, creating a unique natural landscape that leaves a lasting impression.
Merano High Mountain Trail
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Merano High Mountain Trail, the official website was launched on 30 June 2015. It features inspiring images, comprehensive visitor information, up-to-date news, and a mobile-friendly design. A particular highlight is the virtual 360° panoramic flight along the entire trail, including information on more than 130 mountain peaks and hiking destinations.

Herb walk with Rosi
We place great importance on wholesome, healthy and flavourful cuisine.
In summer, our diverse herb garden provides us with a wonderful variety of fresh herbs and spices, which we use to enhance our dishes and desserts.
The herb hike takes place every Wednesday from May to October.
From June to September, on every third Wednesday of the month, the walk will be replaced by a herb cooking or baking class.

Ibex feeding
In June, July, August and September, ibex feeding takes place every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. and is accompanied in German.
The experience lasts approximately one hour.
Participation is free of charge and no advance registration is required.

I have been exploring the mountains since I was a teenager. Over the years, my passion for the mountains has grown stronger and, through a wide variety of tours and alpine adventures, I have learned to push beyond my limits. I am a young and passionate mountain guide, and my goal is to give my guests unforgettable moments and experiences in the mountains.
